I have got a stebel on mine and I couldn't be arsed fitting a relay. The horns not fried itself either yet and it has had plenty of use of York's mareish bypass.

Another one with a shopping list? Blimey!

Lets see:
Relay, wire (1m is probably about right, has to be able to handle the current of the magnum), male & female insulated spades, magnum horn, wire cutter/stripper. Tools to lift tank. You also need to think about where you'll mount it on the curvy, as I have no idea. Any mount you need for that plus fixings. That should be your lot.

Regards
On my pointy, both are mounted on the top bolt of the radiator protector cover thingies (technical term). 1 magnum is rated at 139dBA, I forget what the stock meeper is rated at, but as said above, 1 magnum is more than enough. I have 2 magnums, and I'm looking at something like the Stebel HF80/1 to compliment these (same frequency as the stock meeper, with more volume).

The "beats" thing involving 1 (or more) magnum(s) is just a neat way to grab some serious attention. You'll probably need to hear it to appreciate it, and then decide if it's for you or not. At the moment, I only have 2 magnums, so I don't have the "beats" setup.

That's all well and good, but that's not the general rule of thumb. I'd rather spend £2 on a relay, than have to buy a new loom because it melted.

That is where my Fiamms were mounted on the curvey, you need to bend the mounting bracket into a kind of 'S' shape so they don't foul the fairing. I use mole grips to bend em.

just got mine off ebay (brand new) with a grand saving of £5.50. just checked it on a spare battery........... $h1t its loud, its a low tone one.

still need to get to maplins though, for the bits & pieces.

if it was the case of just repacing the old one easy, but im going with the relay option, so going to get it done on the AE where i will have supervision
