Re: The All New Megathread
Yes, we have lots of rain forecast here too. I'm hoping it's going to dry up a bit soon so I can get the bike out. I still need to change the tyres, but I have an added incentive now. Jan has just tried on my daughter Eleri's bike kit as she's keen to get on the pillion, and it all fits her. We have a few motorcycling adventures beckoning!

Re: The All New Megathread
I agree with Craig.I taxed my bike last year on march 1st and hardly used it due to the terrible weather. This year looks much the same. Tomorrow looks dry so I might get out tomorrow..... maybe.

Re: The All New Megathread
I spoke too soon in my other post about how good the weather was; we now have light rain. Still, now that the wind has swung away from the east we are are at least seeing glimpses of the sun (and 60°F, I'll take it).

Re: The All New Megathread
I did finally get out for an hour. Sun came out at 3pm only to disappear once I set off (and replaced by black clouds) about 20 minutes later. Managed to avoid any rain apart from one black cloud hovering over the village of Cressage and so the bike is now filthy. Argh.

Re: The All New Megathread
No rain for us today, thankfully, as most of the bits of Oxfordshire I go past on my way to work are still underwater, as they've been for weeks now. Thankfully most of the flooded roads are now much easier to pass and with luck they'll be properly clear by my next scheduled commute next week.

Re: The All New Megathread
Morning all.
The weekend edges closer, not that us pension scroungers are particularly affected by that of course. I have a TSP meeting in Llandrindod next Wednesday and I want to go on the bike, rather than have to drive the car there. I could do with a dry day or two so I can get out and change these tyres on the SV as the rear is now well past it and would be pretty lethal in the rain I think! |

Re: The All New Megathread
Morning all. Busy day here today. Walking Mabel with a friend and his dog at 8, then off to do a couple of small IT jobs for people. As long as the weather doesn't turn to crap I'll take the bike, much nicer than using the car.
How is everyone's week looking? |
