Gripe of the day - What is yours?
What should really happen now is... Donald comes over to meet the PM, but gets the response, "Terribly sorry, I'm rather busy at the moment. I'll have to leave you to talk to the Foreign Secretary"
That would be a time to be a fly on the wall. (I forgot for a moment that Boris is actually an American) |

Beauticians.
Working in another town now so been seeking someone to cut my hair for a while since I am unable visit the place I used to go during their business hours. And for the second time now in the past six months got an awful haircut. This one will is so bad it will likely be May or June before it grows out enough to cut again.. She started out well but messed the top up and am now left with a haircut that looks as if a toddler tried to cut all my hair off with electric trimmers. Probably should shave my head completely. It's that bad. Perhaps that's a career I should try. Seems the ability to cut hair with any sort of style is not required. If anyone is looking for me, I'll be the bloke in the corner wearing a hat for the next six months.

Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I once tried saving money by getting a set of electric trimmers and thought I'd go for No3 all over.
The guard came off and I didn't notice until I had a bald stripe over the top. I tried to cover it up. I had to literally shave my head. It didn't save me money. |

I do an hour's drive each way to get my hair cut as she is 50 miles away and I go every six weeks. That's not too bad, previously I saw someone in Sheffield and I live in Essex. That required a full weekend trip.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
As I have a #1 all over, they cannot mess that up. So I go the the nearest place where they charge me £4.00 for my monthly spruce up. Would use the clippers on myself, but I am bound to leave a piece telling everyone I am a cheapskate DIYer.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
OK my gripe today. I have just cancelled my car & van (combined policy) insurance auto renewal. I can get it 200 quid cheaper.
But they obviously have a script they need to read. They have to update the MID data base The police use the MID It is an offence to have a vehicle without insurance. I need to inform all named drivers they are no longer covered by the policy. Do I still want to cancel my renewal? Why resort to these last minute scare tactics? FFS I just want confirmation that you are not going to dip into my bank account in a months time! Now off to stop Hastings from renewing my bike insurance. But last time they screwd up, didn't renew and I rode for 3 months with no insurance until I got a letter from the DVLA and WTF,apologies from Hastings etc. So another good reason never to use auto renew.
