Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
So that's £175 towards your new bike.
You're winning already!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Quite glad ours is brushless. Although that was more luck than planning.

Ha! Not sure my wife will see it like that I did sell her bicycle for her yesterday too. So all in all we were better off than the days I go to work! Sort of.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swit...luctance_motor but our tumble drier is a single phase induction motor and when it stopped working a couple of years ago I had to fit a new start / run capacitor, cost me about £3 from Maplins - scandalous profiteering .... now Maplins have gone I get stuff like that from Farnel or RS now, at least quality is pretty much guaranteed and they won't explode and set your house on fire.

Nice. Post photos when you get it please. I've lusted after one of those for a while. Sitting on one in the dealers just reminds me how hard I'd find it to ride as a main bike though. As a second or third bike I'd have one in a flash. I even kind of prefer the older cheaper ones, not that I'd turn down a current model. The design and lines of them are quite unusually elegant for a modern bike.

We have a hairdresser on our high street called Anita Cut.
I don't think her name is really Anita
