The kindness of some Orger's never ceases to amaze me, even though we've never met.

When we do I'm going to give them a big man hug

Mixed bag: just passed 13,000 miles on my SV rear tyre (Avon Storm 3D XM) with an estimated 2,000 left. Best mileage I've had on a rear tyre.
My H1 has been returned to the refurbisher for a new kickstart spring which has gone weak or broken and it now needs an oil pump, too, since it leaks profusely. I have a sneaking suspicion that that the seal between the gearbox and crank may have failed - I'm sure the g/box oil level dropped and it was smoking heavily. Neil seems to think it's the pump but will check the seal anyway. I got outbid on a KH250 propstand - they're longer than the H1 so the bike doesn't lean as much. (saves carrying a block of wood around!)
I must admit I don't know how the H1F CDI works - it has 2 pickups for 3 cylinders (early models had 3 pickups) maybe it has a wasted spark?

Discovered via Triplesworkshop that there's a guy around the corner (literally) with an H1B; small world.

My battle (which I will lose) with the IRS continues. I'm a "Covered Expatriate" in their eyes which basically means I'm liable for an exit tax and they even take into account the SV I bought in 2016. Fortunately, I surrendered my Green card before inheriting my house else they would come after that as well. I thought it was difficult getting into the US but it's even harder to leave (with your finances intact).

Congratulations. World of Triumph (https://www.worldoftriumph.com/) often have deals on Triumph clothing, the T shirts are good quality - I still wear mine after 3 years (yes, I do wash them).

It will probably be too far for you but Clive Woods is the only independent, Triumph certified mechanic in the UK. He used to prepare the Jack Lilley race bikes. Not only does he encourage you to be with him in the workshop when he's working on your bike but he runs classes on triple maintenance and repairs. He's in Swineshead, Lincs. He will put you up if you're travelling some distance, he's very good.

Non Helpful Remark: I think he ( Clive ) moved there from Bristol.
