That used to be the A380 jigs to set stringers onto bottom panel 4 port, I think (god knows why pocket picked that picture, there are lots of others a LOT more embarrassing. I got off lightly). They were supposed to be removed so they could go back in, if required. Looks like it'll have to be done without the jig...

...nothing wrong with having a beer, oh wait, that's not what you meant

I don't know what you've done to irritate the universe, Mav, but you've certainly upset it. Glad your shower is working, I think a hot shower is one of mankind's greatest inventions.

Is it a combi boiler where you don't get hot water unless boiler is working ?

Glad we have a hot water storage tank that runs at 45psi so that you can run a mixer shower without a pump and if boiler doesn't light up you can heat water with immersion heater.

Yes, certainly seemed to have some bad karma going against me right now, although to be fair its been a bit temperamental lately, the old boiler that is

Yes, that's what we had in our old house. We've had this combi boiler for about 19years, and touch wood its been fine. We had the igniitor circuit board replaced, after a couple of years, but apart from its regular annual service its been fine

Boilers don't last. My house was a new build in 2003 and came with an Ideal non-combi CH system. It died this summer and had to be replaced with another non-combi boiler. The engineer told me that the Ideal boilers usually only last about 8 years, This time I got a Vissman boiler which is considered the best. It has stainless steel internals as opposed to the Ideals aluminium, which corroded and caused it to fail.

Yep the veissmann are excellent boilers

My smile is the look on a customers face when she saw her house after my brother an myself have been in there for about 6 weeks so far doing a full refurbishment and we're not even finished yet.
Her husband hasn't been well so she hasn't been to see any progress in a few weeks.
