My home phone is now never used for personal calls. It is usually used for automated messages from *insert product choice* and foreign call centres trying surveys or telling you your Microsoft computer is at risk.

Although now I have been in an accident that involved the police, I'm sure I will be getting those calls too, and a lot of text messages offering me lots of money

I've gotten texts to say that I'm owed thousands from my recent accident claim.
Thing is I've not had it yet and the payout so big I'm frightened to leve the house.....

Cats thinking it's OK to go outside in the biggest thunderstorm of the year before coming in soaking wet and miowing loudly then deciding as I'm now awake it's acceptable to dry themselves off in bed on me at 5am when I'm nice and warm and dry under the duvet.

No, they'll be trying to UPGRADE you to a different account, with free holiday insurance, breakdown, mobile insurance etc etc.

Halifax tried this on us. In hindsight it wasn't a bad deal & I may change my Nationwide account to one of these.

There is a monthly fee to pay, but the interest is better
