I should have it fitted properly next weekend at the very latest. No reason why it shouldn't work. I'm putting a second on using the BMW accessory socket as the trigger source as this again is ignored by the Canbus.

Makes total sense. I had thought on doing this - glad it's not a ridiculous plan!

yup wait till Malc has tested it out as it might need a diode to stop the reverse pulse messing with the can-bus.

Got mine saturday. Very impressed with construction! Will have a go wiring it in this weekend, once i can find some space for it on the 1000. Very nice work mister.
