Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Nah, the stroker went to its new home a week ago. It hadn't turned a wheel in almost a year, seemed a waste having it. Figured I might as well flog it and buy a practical commuter [1] as a replacement so the gixer can be kept for distance and high speed work.
The new owner is a mate of almost 20 years' standing and he seems absolutely besotted with it. I know he'll look after it far better than I would too. [1] All things are relative

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
I guess the Duke will be a good London tool. Would be sh1te for my commute as it's all M40, but I bet it's brilliant round town. Did you buy new?

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
Nah, the new model (690) is too recent, fetches silly money. This is an 02 plate 640 that cost me pocket money. One owner from new, who I know and suspect the term "never been thrashed" would be appropriate, it even came with the original welcome pack and the KTM pen.
I rode it home from work today, found myself doing 20mph more than I would on the thou everywhere (within the confines of central London). The high and wide bars take a bit of getting used to filtering-wise, as does the way it bogs down a bit at very low revs. But jesus, give it a few berries and it absolutely flies. Seriously, if I still have a licence in six months' time I'll be amazed. Pure hooliganism. Still, I got it home without being nicked, which is more than I managed on the thou... Edit: Might as well add a pic:

Someone came into my house last night whilst I was asleep and stole the keys to my Audi TT and a bunch of other stuff from my girlfriends handbag. Of course having the keys to the car meant that that also went missing! To be fair they were after the car. I am just glad they found the keys before they found us. All rather crap seeing as I am moving out on Saturday.

Re: The TV Mini Mehga thread.
THat's $hit Jon at least as you say it's only money. Hope the claim goes well. And more importantly that you feel safer in your new house.
