I've just rejected Amazon and Wex to spend £7000 at my local independent camera shop. Friendly, knowledge staff, prices the same or cheaper than the faceless online retailers but proper customer service and a free tripod strap and hugely discounted filters thrown into the package. I'm probably their favorite customer of the week. Anyway, MCC now owns some decent photographic kit and I get to take my own gear home for my own use full time at last.
