I just chuckled about it too Mav, it seems a little more amusing from this end of the day. It actually sounds like a sketch from some slapstick comedy show!

Indeed, after you've calmed down after the stress of it, it can seem funny.

Yours could have been a scene from Fawlty Towers, with you thrashing your bike with a branch

I'm glad I read that I needed cheering up.

I'm sick to the back teeth of the idiot I sit next too in work. I was warned by one of his ex-bosses that he was an arrogant big barsteward.

But, I've never met a more childish self obsessed bigot in my life. His ignorant arrogance is unbelievable. I'm supposed to train this man when in his mind he knows everything, can't take constructive criticism and blames all of his errors on other people.

The chips on his shoulder about anything or anyone who has wronged him in his whole life are massive. It's everyone else's fault that he didn't succeed in his previous employment, a job where being a team player is everything. It's everyone else's fault thay he's been moved sections 3 times in the last 4 years.

Today he refused to sign a woman's birthday card because 3 months ago she took a couple of minutes out of her life to unequivocally prove that he was wrong when he arrogantly tried to shoot her down in front of the whole section.

Thank the Lord my boss knows the situation.

Sorry rant over...

I just ate a Reeses large Peanut Butter cup. Now I feel sick. They are horrible, cheap, nasty chocolate but my manager loves them. So I buy them for him, he leaves one on my desk and then I go and eat it, then I'm instantly filled with regret and a horrid slimy tongue from all the palm oil.

Nobody gets sacked from here they just get moved on. Only way to get sacked from here is steal something get caught fiddling your flexi-time or in one case get caught fiddling with yourself in the office*. We're still under civil service TC's.

*TBH he was asked to resign or be sacked and go on the register.

I'm trying to imagine this, you were filtering and someone ran into the back of you, and bikes don't have number plates on the front so they were in a car....? Must have been a big gap you were filtering through!
