Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yeah. GSXR with a double bubble.
Old jacket no noticeable buffeting. Same bike same route same helmet same rider same speeds. Just different jackets. I wouldn't have believed it. But it was like night and day. I just rode home with my old knackered jacket and it's a totally different ride.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
That would make sense if it's similar to the trapped air pocket / vacuum you get behind screens at some speeds.. the reason some screen have vents. Obviously you can't have vents in your head so filling the void with something behind it that smooths air flow rather than creating a void would stop turbulence.

"working" from home today. So far I've switched the laptop on, replied to an email from the boss and spent an hour surfing Reddit.
Haven't got out of bed yet Going to spend the entire working day naked. Edit: mission accomplished, off to get dressed. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Interesting. I honestly thought it was a marketing gimmick to attract wannabe's. I am now open to giving wardrobe space to a humped jacket (fnarr!) to go with the other 4 jackets I already have, hmm

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
in the tangled web of remastered vinyl finding something as late as 2017 to be superb, Marillion - Misplaced Childhood. its superb in every respect. i have the original but lets face it, its well played so ordred a new copy and i'm gobsmacked. no loudness wars here, just plain perfection and dare i say it better than the first pressing. not only is it as good if not better than the original it comes with a polly inner sleeve.

Does the person who does the mastering still sign the run out groove? I seem to remember a "Porky" signature on vinyl was a sign of quality... "A Porky's Prime Cut!". ---- Edit / I used to love vinyl and had a niche for collecting 10 inch singles. My love was extinguished slightly when I found my (then 2 year old) son learning to play frisby with my collection while I had my back turned for a couple of minutes making him some food.

a good ride out on the bike today, some 250 miles of lovely roads. Need to get bike fit for all the trips planned for the summer.
