I don't. Doesn't matter where I position my bike, in the absence of slow cyclists, I'm out of the way before the car starts moving. I do ride slower bikes differently. I also keep out of the way if i think something slow is gonna hold me up. Hence the complaint.

It is a different situation with so many cyclists though. If you can't fit through a gap, you should get out of the way of narrower vehicles. Most considerate car drivers seem to respect this as well. Motorcyclists are probably the worst offenders here.

Beautiful day and I don't have to go to work.
Adjusted the chain, changed the oil, a quick check over and all ready for the first ride of the year..... except the brake light isn't working from the front lever.
I took it out and it looks like a dodgy switch. First ride on hold until I can get a new part.

Give it a good dousing with switch cleaner. Squirt it into the switch.

I gave that a go, and sanded the two metal prongs, which were green and a bit corroded at the bottom where they join the switch. Still no joy.
I've a new one on order. Already posted out first class so hopefully will arrive today.

Found a screw in my front tyre. Stupid me pulled it out - shoulda left it in and ridden it to the shop as it was holding pressure. Now I'll have to pay to get it picked up.

I suppose it could have deflated disastrously or left me stranded in the middle of London somewhere. At least I noticed it whilst at home. Also the tyre needed replacing anyway. I'll call this one evens.

The cyclist that at 3 sets of lights, despite having the full width of the bay in front of the advanced stop line, decides at every set of lights to sit at 45 degrees across the front of my bike. Holding me up, the car behind, and having everyone honking because i refuse to run him over. Better situational awareness please.
