There is a lot that is right with that MT09 Tracer Chris. I'd have kept mine if I hadn't had turbulence problems wreaking havoc with my tinnitus. A few other small things bugged me but overall I could have lived with them on balance with how good the engine is etc.

It would be a shame not to have it as a soundtrack at the BPW this year.

I'd have one again if they ever sorted out that front end and it's tendancy to funnel air through the gaps.

Have you tried the best version of the MT09? Nice clean airflow without a screen

I do like the naked version but it's slightly too small for me. I feel like I'm going to fall off the back. Same great engine though. I did consider one at one point but knew I'd want to change out to lower bars.

I didn't but I tried both 700 versions, the MT07 is definitely a small bike

Started the ill health retirement process for my wife.

Met today with her manager / HR & pensions dept and surprised to discover she will get 12 weeks lieu of notice and 4 weeks unused leave. But to get the timing right to move these extras into next tax year!

Yet to fight benefits. I have done the research and I think I know what she should be entitled to (support group, contribution ESA). But getting the process sorted when you have never claimed before is going to be a nightmare .
It is a door closing and another opening. I feel for those who have to sort this sort of thing out on their own.

Good luck with that Tim. Might be worth talking to CAB about the benefits bit. My experience is DWP will try and short change you, and you'll have chase everything.

I got the 3months + leave bit too - bowel cancer. Thankfully all sorted but a tough 18 months.
