Wonder if we could talk Senhor Henry into donating his 'old thing' - just to set a good example to others of course !! :P

" Lets be perfectly clear about the distinction between MotoGP and SBK. It is bleedingly obvious that one is for protype machinery that you can't purchase from you local dealer, the other is for road based machinery. Carrying on about what manufacturers do in MotoGP is pointless and off topic. "
And just how close to a road going 999 do you think the Ducati really is.

The WSB Ducati is putting out nearly 200bhp whereas the road going sport limited edition model is about 140bhp and costs around £20k.

I think it is a little simplistic to think that the rule changes will make the racing costs any cheaper, because as has already been said, Ducati will just push the new engine to its limits with the use of exotic materials and electronics and the 1200cc bike will then develop 250bhp.

The only way to limit spending is to ban engine modifications altogether and have a larger figure for homologation.

As far as comparing WSB to Motogp the point is, Ducati can afford to develop a new engine in Motogp which is competetive and are already testing next years 800cc so why can't they develop one in WSB without moaning and in my opinion cheating.

I haven't seen Suzuki wanting the rules in Motogp changing because they haven't won for a few years, they have just knuckled down to develop there bike.

Good French MotoGP there.

Rossi must be stuffed...he is having his bad luck in one lump sum!

John Hopkins is showing real star quaility IMHO...they must have found the go button on that Suzuki.

Melandri has won 2 races and yet still not the favourite! The Invisible Man!

Gibernau's season hasn't started yet either. Capirex doing well.

Pedrosa is showing the form but Rossi would have won by a country mile...Still the best rider but not the best finisher!
