LOL Grew up playing in the forest, did a bunch of survival hikes when I was younger. Although there is a high alert out for bears in that area right now, American Black Bears are not aggresive unless provocked by a human. You are much more likely to encounter deadly venomous snakes (see picture below) like these normallly aggrressive Cottonmouth Moccasins. The key to not being attacked by wildlife is respect, know their habits, stay out of their territory , know if your are being warned. i would spend the night in the forest anytime with no fear at all. Just need to take some precautions and pay attentiion where you are going!
