Boots using a Christmas song in their latest ad. They used "I wish it could be Christmas every day" and changed the word Christmas to summer.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
The annoying person at work asked me today why so many motorcyclists have L plates. She is convinced we choose to put them on our bikes and won't accept that it's only learners who put them on.
She's strange. |

I think I might try that LPH!
She's a junior member of staff on probation who writes emails to me telling me what I must do. I work from the same island of desks and have more than a decade experience in this business, 20 years on total in similar roles and am a senior manager. I must leave them a copy of "How to Win Friends" on their desk. |

Gripe of the day - What is yours?
The gloves are off now.
Annoying person at work has taken to switching the AC off and turning the radio down. So I've taken over the radio via Bluetooth only to find she even dislikes the Jungle Book. She switched it off!! I don't want to be like her. |

long range weather forecast. rest of June.. rain and more rain. July.. rain and more rain just for good measure. August.. even more rain with added rain. September.. yup you guessed it, rain and wait for it more rain.
so pretty much the rest of the summer will be overcast and wet. |
