Unfortunately it looks like people on existing schemes will also be affected.

Woohoo - got my letter from HR today telling me that the Planet X Carbon road bike I got 3 years ago is now mine with nothing else to pay - the £1000 bike cost me about £520 interest free over 3 years.

Double woohoo - just spotted a message posted on our intranet today from HR stating that although the scheme rules have changed, they have agreed with HMRC that this will only apply within our company to vouchers ordered after 4th September 2010 (i.e. TOMORROW!). I have just therefore placed an order for another £1000 voucher

Looks like I will be getting a Boardman Hardtail Pro when the voucher comes through in October

Not sure about the denim look shorts though - not that you would have seen me wearing them

I is like totally proud of myself......did my ride home yesterday in bang on 45 minutes. Not bad on a mountain bike with nobbly tyres and up hills.

Or at least so I thought.

Tim, that sucks there been some nice bikes there. Have you been and posted on many of the bicycle forums?
