Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Scouts...dirty little sods.
Daughter has become a scout leader in a depressed area. unlike all the other local units, they have no hall/hut and meet inside a church. So slowly their kit is stacking up in my garage. She brought me 5 tents yesterday and asked me to clean them before putting them away. 4 hours to do two. They are covered in mud and mold. They wouldn't get open between camps. I know they have nowhere where they can air them out. But why couldn't one of each group of occupants take one home and sling it over the washing line with a bucket of soapy water for the ground sheet and hose down the fabric. Then let it dry properly before packing.

The did he same to the A140, my route into Norwich a couple of weeks ago. Dicey for the first few days. They leave the chippings so traffic can bed then in. In Norfolk they get swept about a week later.

Metacarpal fracture should have been plastered 17 days ago so the bone wasn't stable and just doing whatever it wanted.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
This was from Saturday, go to take out wife's ER6F and it felt heavy moving it. Found the tyre was flat, so I pump it up. Remove pump and it starts hissing thenFind valve is kaput. Not sure it was replaced when the tyre was changed.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Funny how beer and whisky makers go to certain areas for the quality of the water (Scotland, Ireland, English North Midlands) and then make something as far from water as you can get out of it - maybe miracles do happen after all

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Makes you wonder if you should mark the old valve in some way before getting tyre changed to check if a new on gets fitted (although thread on new one should be shiny all the way down to rubber)- that valve could have blown out while moving, very nasty
