Re: AR2013 Chat Thread
not yet.
If you mean rain showers, there won't be any... If you mean shower facilities, there wont be any... Not at the pub anyway, you could have a basic wash in the toilet facilities in the pub as long as you don't stroll down there in only a towel but that's about it. |

Re: AR2013 Chat Thread
Can I just take the time to say, I really like the back to basics approach.
So far the majority of the arguments seem to have been about who's picking up the bar tab, degrees of nakedness, and whether the route contains enough gravel to keep everyone happy. In short the things that matter. I think through the best of intentions the last few years people have felt pressured into organising more and more add-on facilities. It's nice to just know I can put my name down, rock up at the correct field with a tent and say hello and not worry that I'll not have noticed all the effort everyone's gone to. Thank you for your efforts so far, me and Mrs Jambo are looking forward to it I'm pretty sure I have a couple of T-shirts with my name on in case I get lost... Jambo

Re: AR2013 Chat Thread
I know, why don't we all bring our t-shirts from previous ARs and swap between ourselves thus totally confusing everyone on who is who. That way I might also end up wearing one that isn't ridiculously tight across the bosom as PT6's idea of skinny fit and mine seem to differ.

Re: AR2013 Chat Thread
Regarding the t-shirts, don't forget that photoshop imbeciles of the GM have been responsible for the logo designs and pressing them onto even a £50 designer t-shirt would instantly render them worthless. Walking around wearing them after the event would absolutely guarantee remarks of utter distain from small children who, upon comparing the design to their play school finger paintings, would find them embarrassingly inadequate at best, and probably an affront to their fragile minds.
Basically I wouldn't buy an AR t-shirt normally, and I definitely wouldn't buy one designed by our artistically impaired cretins.

Re: AR2013 Chat Thread
They're all shocking, just like the Shed. When I saw them I saw no hope in improving them with feedback so said nothing. Kind of like if someone is about to cook you bolognaise and the first thing they do is take a dump in the frying pan, you're not going to eat it no matter how they tweak the recipe.
