Morning all. A bit hazy out there at the moment but the forecast is for wall to wall sunshine today. Out for a good walk with Mabel first I think, then a few gardening jobs. If there's still time after that then a couple of hours out on the bike would be in order.

All the salt and grit is now gone from the roads here Trevor. Plenty of farm muck to keep me on my toes though!

How's the day looking for the rest of the .org?

Another day of tests, which I don't really feel like, but it's all in a good cause (hopefully).

Started to tackle the leaking roof light on the motorhome, now its a bit warmer and plastic becomes a little more tolerant to being pulled and prised. Cound not find a relevant Y Tube vid so its a voyage of discovery but so far so good . Hope all is positive Craig

Hope your luck is better than mine Craig.

Git in a van cut me up on the M40 this morning, kicking up up grit off the hard shoulder in the process by turning off too late for the junction he almost missed. BANG. Thankfully I only have to wait a week for Autoglass to turn up but I'm down £130 for the insurance excess...

Morning all. Another sunny day in store, at least until about 5pm when we have some rain forecast. A quick walk with Mabel this morning and then off to do some gardening for an old friend.

Not good Trevor but glad it wasn't any worse. Some people drive like cretins on the motorway. I find them quite scary places to be.

Ooof, what a pain. Scary as hell when it happens, too. I've always found Autoglass to be very good, whether doing chip repairs or a full replacement. They did the screen on my lad's 420i a year or so ago, the job was perfect.

I've had mixed experiences with Autoglass, from good to waiting two months for a Focus screen replacement (incompetence and plain lying combined). But you have to use whoever your insurance company uses so...

On another note, Diggerman morphed into Rotavator man today. My well meaning but slightly clueless neighbour bought himself the world's smallest rotavator late last year but it just bounced about on the surface as it was so light. Thankfully the guy they hired to (I assume) prep the ground and sow a new lawn, was using a behemoth of a hired rotavator. So noisy! He's spent the last few hours raking out the worst of the stones and levelling things out, so the terrible post-builders bombsite we've had to look at for the last two summers may actually become a lawn again in time for the warmer weather this year. It looks so much better already so I hope it works out well for next door.
