Re: Vintage film cameras
Hey Yoko, how does the aperture work on the adapter? Does it stop down when you attach it? I guess you have it wide open for focusing and the stop it down for shooting? I can't wrap my head around it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
To be honest, I'm not sure. I used aperture priority and let it go. It seemed to work fine. I think the adapters are OK on A or M settings. The OMD also has a button for setting focal length if using primes.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Took a punt on a broken/spares repair Nikon FM with a stuck shutter and not winding on. Managed to fix it .. now got a fully working early model but it's got an unusual viewfinder and focus screen.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I am. A Nikon is on my list. I've just bought a Canon rangefinder, I'll post a photo when it arrives.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I am jealous really, I seem to struggle to find Nikons. I have the EM and the battered FM but not the proper lens for it. Unusual to see a chrome one, mine is black with a lot of brassing. Did you get a Canonet?

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'll tell you more when it arrives. I just like the quirky design of it.
