There are plenty of Nikons around but they are very expensive. I was a bit lucky with this one and put in a low offer thinking that if I couldn't fix it, I could probably recoup the money selling the body and lens separately. In the end, it was an easy fix.
I know very little about Nikons and have no idea about the lenses. This one hasn't got the rabbit ear - whatever that means.
The shutter mechanism is incredibly smooth compared to the other manual cameras I have but I don't like the screen - just a circle as below; I was expecting a split screen and as far as I can make out, focussing screens aren't replaceable on FMs

And the Canon looks very nice too. Good price.

the rabbit ear thing engages with a lever under pentaprism. I think it simply tells the body what aperture you're using. Google Nikon AI lenses if you want further confusion.

That is a cracking little lens and a great price. One of my Minoltas was wearing that when it arrived.

Too far out of my way otherwise I'd jump on it. G1 should be here tomorrow. Might buy a L39 adapter for the Zorki lenses.

Nice Nikon, I do wonder if I should figure them out and find one. Kenzie, PM me the link for Lincoln and I'll check it out
