Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Picked up a couple of second hand bits of new (to me) kit on eBay. Pleased to find they fit me perfectly. A Dainese mesh jacket (Super rider something?) and some leather trousers. Wasn't sure about the fit at first but wore them to get out on a few hours ride this morning and once on the bike they felt great. I find it really hard to find things that fit, are supposed to be my size and are also comfortable. So really pleased that these work so well.
Also had a great ride out, over the bridge into Wales, up to Gloucestershire and back around to home by lunchtime to spend the rest of the day on a walk with the family. Giving myself a couple of days off from my recent 7 day weeks and seems like I've timed it perfectly for the weather. Also really enjoying the Striple... even more so now that recent hard work means it's nearly all paid off. Plenty of smiles today.

Tim , pleased to read you had some good news
Had a wee blast. 3 people pulled out on me today, 2 to a total standstill - 3/3 waved apologetically! Progress I think

Are you sure the trousers fit perfectly because, judging by your expression, something is being crushed

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Picked up Hugh from Spannerman today after his year three service and first MoT. Stewart found the front pads were worn unevenly making me wonder if they had been checked at all in the year one or two service at main dealers... I bedded in the new pads on the long way home, smiling all the way, knowing that my bike is back in safe servicing hands again. I certainly don't miss the main dealer network!
