This made me smile, having been out of work for a few months until this week myself. Looking forward to getting mine too.

Over ten years working for the same shop freelance and I've been pushing for being PAYE for a couple of years as my hours have become so regular I shouldn't have to be self employed here. The owner didn't seem to want the hassle of setting it all up and getting Payroll going. Finally got the owner to agree. Had to draw up my own contract and sort it all but I'm finally actually employed. His accountants are running payroll. Slightly worse off in some ways (have to wait for pay, taxed at source before I reach the tax threshold and can't write of certain things etc), but hopefully better off in others, especially with the world being so uncertain right now.

I missed my old VFR...

It's the one I posted about a few days ago with ABS problems. Can anyone spot what might be the issue? Bonus points if you can guess the first thing I've ordered for it.

Bit of misalignment there. My ABS ring is a stamped out ring rather than the cast item here. Looks like an A6 model with clear indicators so that ring or wheel isn't original.

Yep. The previous owner was not mechanically inclined. He tried to find out why the ABS light was on permanently but never noticed the wrong pulse ring.

It's a 2008. Bit of a mysterious history. It's a cat C write off. Front mudguard is badly rattle canned. Front RH indicator is slightly loose due to a cracked mount inside the fairing. RH pillion peg has breakers pen on it underneath. Guessing it went down on it's right and someone bought it off insurance and fixed it themselves, fitting the wrong ring in the process. Likely he didn't want to spend the £50 it costs for the correct one.

Previous owner ran it for 4 years with no ABS. Said he serviced it. In reality it looks like he thinks regular servicing is just changing the oil a couple of times. He never touched the coolant or any other fluids. So it's getting an overahaul.

You're using the wrong dealer. B&B Suzuki in Lincoln are excellent.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that , just that fluids aren't always changed as often as recommended.
