Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Finally making some decent progress on the ZX6Rr. Starting to feel quite satisfying now.
Bar conversion done, braided lines fitted and bled, new pads and caliper clean. Breakers bought nose cone fitted along with cheap screen and both trimmed for bar clearance. Engine is all runnning smoothly with new plugs and clearances done. Need to get hold of a PC so I can see what the Power Commander is doing as the deposits on the exhaust are a bit sooty. Also got sprockets to change back to stock as it's stupidly low geared and requires second gear to pull away at any decent rate. Sprockets and new tyres will be on at a later date once I've road tested it. That and I obviously need to spray the nose cone. I've got a can of (apparently colour code correct) spray and laquer ready for it that the dog gave me for my Birthday recently. Very clever those Collies when it comes to researching paint codes

' The fluids are not the expensive bit ( especially when trade people like garages get probably 50% off price Joe public pays ), it is the labour that soon racks up the bills.' - I knew that much at least !

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
If it is implemented at the same time scale as Heathrow's 3rd runway (proposed in 2009), A303 Stonehenge tunnel (proposed in 1991). Crossrail tunnel was supposed to open 2018 - current guess is 2022. HS2? - the bookies are still guessing on that one.
So, it sounds great on paper - makes great headlines. Remember Smart Meters? - must be installed by end of 2020 (now 2021). I'm not worried yet. BoZo's other projects: The Garden Bridge over the Thames (when he was Mayor). The bridge between NI and Scotland (suggested). The Bendy Bus (when he was Mayor) - since withdrawn. Not a great one for thinking is BoZo - I think the picture of him on the zip wire sums him up best. https://www.theguardian.com/politics...-2012-olympics
