Re: Vintage film cameras
It's a Fujica 35 EE coupled rangefinder with 45mm f1.9 lens. It should have auto mode but the meter on mine is dead. Focus is via a thumb wheel on the back, shutter speed is around the lens barrel along with the aperture ring and self timer. The self timer works thankfully as it's really easy to activate it by accident. Rewind crank is in the side of the top plate whereas the wind lever and frame counter are both on the bottom. Really nice to use, this one jumped the shooting queue and came out walking with the Perkeo. Shot half a roll of HP4 but realised after ten shots that I was metering for 400 is o instead of 125. I keep wanting to shoot other black and white film but I keep going back to HP5+.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Oh yeah! Forgot about that. Dug my Mamiya Six out and have been toying with using it, the lenses are still foggy because of the fungus etching, and God knows how I could replace them. It's not top of the pile (and is in one piece, unlike the Automatica) but I was looking forlornly at it. The best folder I have right now is the Certo from 1937!

Re: Vintage film cameras
Got a pic of the lenses? I still think you should try and get them polished. The double exposure lock didn't disengage for one shot so I had to trip the shutter the hard way!

Re: Vintage film cameras
They're on Flickr, look pretty bad really and after the carp I got out of the Contessa LKE with hazy lenses, in reality I know I'd be wasting my time. Some day I'll have a go at polishing the surfaces just to try to reduce it, but not just now.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Bought this lot off a customer yesterday. I don't think they're worth a lot but I can't resist.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I have a couple of the Agfa Silettes, the f2.8 and an f3.5. Only thing with old Agfas is the grease that they used, it gums up and makes focusing impossible.

Re: Vintage film cameras
The Agfa seems to work okay although the slower shutter speeds sound a bit slow. The seller bought it new in 1958.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It looks very clean, I actually found I had three of them as I had forgotten I had bought one. 2x f3.5 and 1x 2.8. I donated out one of the 3.5s. There is a very helpful man on here who services cameras by the way, does a great job!
