Re: Vintage film cameras
Nice looking Agfa that John. The GAS is slowly gaining momentum.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm a liability to myself, just won a Pentax A3 so I can put the 50mm f1.7 SMC-A lens on my Program A.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Hahaha. Good tactic though. It can sometimes be cheaper overall to buy a lens with a camera attached than the lens on its own.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Made an effort this morning, popped a test roll of Agfa into an OM1 and managed to shoot off half a roll. Thought I'd test out a couple of lenses. The Agfa Vista supply is now in single figures.

Re: Vintage film cameras
If you get stuck I can send you a few rolls of 2017 vintage Vista? All of mine will expire by December, thats at least 90 rolls!

Re: Vintage film cameras
I've got 9 left but at the rate I use them, they will probably last me into next year. Then I'll have to progress onto Fuji or Kodak gold I guess.

Re: Vintage film cameras
A friend brought this round today ....
It's a new one on me. A bit of research says its a Lordox 57 Junior. Quite a nice bit of kit. Scale focus but it comes with a clip on rangefinder along with a few other bits. Slow shutter speeds aren't working though, which seems to be the mechanism rather than a gummed up aperture. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I have heard of Lordomat, maybe part of the same brand? Nice looking bit of kit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Leidolf-L...MAAOSwgN5ZpQP9
I was watching Ghostbusters and Ray was shooting with a film camera. Just looked it up and its a Nikon FE, won't be owning that any time soon! Got some rolls of HP5 in 120 and 35mm for a planned trip to IWM Duxford next month, I want a nice grainy black and white 6x9 shot of a Spitfire.
