It was included in my net salary payment for the month. So I paid no tax at all this month and got a load back. So no, not part of earnings. Win!

Have been made permanent at work Was 1 of 4 temps covering a static role + holidays and I was the best fit to stay..

Never heard of anybody being taxed on a tax rebate (although inheritance tax is a tax on money that has already been taxed ) !
