Looking like the Cotswolds so far. I have done a little research and according to a route planner the Cotswolds is about 450 miles from me and the journey will take over 20 hours

Hopefully it'll be faster on the bike Just getting there, will be a rideout for me Might need a few days of work, and make it a long weekend.

The Cotswolds is in Gloucestershire, west and up a bit of London and nearish Wales if I remember correctly.

I learnt to drive in the Cotswolds, there are some lovely bits of road, my favourite being the A419 between Stroud and Cirencester. Unfortunately its a main road but its wide, twisty, hilly with straight bits too.

The hardcore tourist Costswolds are really centred around Burford, Stow, Bourton etc but the whole of the Oxford, Stratford, Bath triangle is similar scenery and all within easy riding distance. Or diamond if you think of Cheltenham.

About 120 - 200 miles from Plymouth, depending on the meeting point, so might be able to come along

I votes South Wales, but am happy with the Cotswolds too. Much less of a journey for the Scot's contingent.
