Re: Taken out at Cadwell :-(
words oot my mouth.
I'd ask for an account of what went wrong, where he was after the session and how he'd like to pay for the damage? And maybe show him the video

Good question and right now I'm not sure.

Re: Taken out at Cadwell :-(
Start reading up on how others have pursued this sort of incident. Get in touch with the track day organisers. They will have a log of the details that you were both present that day and during the same session. Any video evidence of him leaving early?

Re: Taken out at Cadwell :-(
I think an apology and an explanation of why he couldn't be bothered to hang around to see how you were is what you should ask for. The riding error, however stupid it appears to be is forgivable. It's his behaviour afterwards that we all find so offensive.
Theres no point in treating it like a criminal offence, it isn't. But I think it wouldn't hurt to let him know his behaviour wasn't acceptable and if he thinks he's pulled a fast one and got away with it, he hasn't. |

Re: Taken out at Cadwell :-(
I agree, a reminder to him that buggering off is not acceptable and anyone can be traced would suffice.

Just let him know he's a knobber for leaving and not providing an apology. No point taking things further imho. |
