Soooooooo, thats the new org support vehicle then! Don't worry too much about the Warfarin, and thin blood syndrome, its not as bad as you would think. Just make sure you stamp that little foot of yours if you think his doses aren't to his liking, and his checks are followed regular. Its proper naff, was gonna ring or text you today, but reckoned you'd be flooded with calls from everyone. I'll maybe try another time, when things have calmed a bit.

Re: Thanks For The Memories
This is really sad news: It's never good to hear someone has to stop biking, but it's impossible to challenge the wisdom of your decision.
I remember that it was you both that brought me to the org. Whilst I'm mainly an "invisible", I'm glad you did. Enjoy the MR2. I confess I don't like the new ones (I used to own a Mk1) but I'm sure it beats the hell out of a typical car and will still give you some driving pleasure. Best wishes to you both.

Re: Thanks For The Memories
Lissa - It was a pleasure to meet you and Pete at the GM and later at the AR, and an even greater pleasure to be able to say I'd ridden with you both. I'll never forget Larry waving madly as you zipped past!
Wishing Pete a speedy recovery, enjoy the new toy and good wishes to you both. Jen |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
My most vivid memory of you two is GMI, going the fastest I've ever gone on the SV and being passed, blown away really, by a waving Larry the Lamb. Bloody hell!
Now, when you say MR2, are you quite sure you don't mean Ariel Atom? Just askin... |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
Firstly, sorry to hear about the retirement. Totally understand though.
Secondly, welcome to the blood clot/rat poison gang. Remember when I had to take it for a clot in my shoulder caused by my broken collarbone. Started the Warfarin and was warned about the bleeding thing. I went to put a glass in a cupboard and dropped it. Automatic reaction was to try and grab it. I did grab it, but only after it had already smashed on the side. Sliced my hand open and then thought I was going to bleed to death. A quick trip to A&E the sorted it. So Pete, STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN. Nice car by the way. |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
I don't remember when I met you first, Pete and Lissa. But you left such a lasting impression. I don't 'know' you that well but I count you as my friends and I will miss you. But I hope you'll still come to things!!! I totally understand and respect your decision, and I wish you both all the best
Lots of love, and hugs to both Ed xx |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
Pete / lissa ,
First time I meet you guys you greeted me like old friends, taken aback a little until I found out it’s in your Nature to treat new and old people with a kind and warm affection. Will sincerely miss riding with you guys…. not that I could keep up.. Does this mean you’ll dress the MR2 as a sledge or a very over weight Rudolph...?. Get well soon pete . All the very best to both of you. regards Tony K.
