Sorry to hear this David, still could have been a whole lot worse, Collar bones are a pain but normally heal well.
I'd come and visit, but as you know I'm not up to that yet. So what happened ? Cheers Mark.

Damn! Not the best way to end the year. Hey, maybe you can join the titanium collarbone gang.
Heal soon. It's crap weather to be out biking anyway. Take it easy and reap the sympathy. |

Cheers Mark.[/quote Stupid harsh braking - lost it - next thing I am on the floor - distinct feeling of "waking up" thinking - "oh crap - this isnt just a dream" Shopping list are rear plastics, gear lever, clutch leaver, crash bung and indicator Have about 6 to 8 weeks to sort it all out. So my 1st Rideout, my 1st trip in an ambulance and my 1st broken bone. As offs go, not serious, but at the moment I dont see me having any problems with getting back on a bike. Will try and find a way of gettinh myself and maybe Teraza over to visit you Mark. Photos of bike and my X-ray to follow David |

David - bugger of a day. Glad it wasnt any worse than what it was. I am guessing that big horse sh*t in the middle of the lane leading into that sharp bend was the cause of the extra breaking. The witness mentioned it was a graceful slide at least.
It started like this before we split up. Shouldve gone with the wise ones. Us causing trouble - no sir Ride it like this - no no - we are just testing the clutch officer |

Fair to say the rideout did not quite go to plan.... Cheers to Paul for following me back to Purley checking I didn't have any issues, and a big thanks to Joe for doing big mileage in the car to ferry me to my bike and then pick up David from the hospital and drop him home. David, heal quick mate! T, go easy on him! Jambo
