Telesales is a VERY effective way for a company to generate sales leads for its BDMs.

Having worked in sales for the majority of my working life (which isnt that long, but still a good time), i wont hear a bad work uttereed about sales staff.

Id love to hear your reasons/justification for this "hatred".

I have registered with the fax and telephone preference service and worked for a time but has started again.

I get about 5 computer generated fax calls per day, these use up my expensive fax cartridge and they come through even If I try to stop them (they must have some clever override system!).

These often come at 5 and 6 in the morning waking up the household and then as wake I panic cos my first reaction is - has there been an emergency in the family

I get about the same amount of computer generated sales calls during the day(windows etc) added to that because I run a business I get people phoning me to see if I want water drinkers and coffee machines, franking machines etc for my business (Its only me here and I can use the kettle ) Some sales staff are quite rude If I want any of these things I will google,phone 24/7,look in yellow pages.

Also being an artist this becomes very annoying when I am constantly having to down tools to answer the phone (I cant ignore it in case it is a new client) and when it is a sales call I get annoyed.

I dont cold call people asking them if they want a painting - I advertise and wait for the work to come in - why dont these companies do the same
