so, 'if' we were to go with the 'tour' design down the back, if we had say a larger font with 'username' on the back followed by the tour

everyone would know who we were from behind

with the main design on the front, with a small font for the username, say on the top left?

I'd like the deer to stay, if its not there, it doesn't really tie everything together, but if the 'sight' thing was gone, it would perhaps adhere to a wider taste, but then I don't have issue with the sight either.

Its not the deer thats the issue for some.

You could however, within the constraints of the design, replace the whole bit in the middle with the correct Yorkshire Rose.

Are there any print requirements at all Dizz? Maximum amount of colours or anything? Issues with thin/fine lines at all?

Can't imagine that lines would be an issue, but they might kick off and charge loads if we have more than about 4 or so colours. But again possibly not...

Is there going to be some sort of a poll on this subject?

Personally, I quite like the SK design, with yellow / gold inner and red lettering around the outside of the disk. The white rose of Yorkshire possibly highlighted in some way? Perhaps with a red (?) border around it, and with the stag's head with no crosshairs on it.

Just my 2p.

Keep up the good work. Really looking forward to the AR now!

Colouring is slightly more complicated, as its layered for some i think, as far as detail, it can be worked around, but be aware if its overload on detail and complicated if its shrunk down to put on the tshirt, the quality may be lost.
Simplicity is the key I think

The design ideas in this thread will run til around Sunday, then a seperate poll will be put up for vote for a week or two. We need the final design soonish, so we can get it down for print, don't a rush job, so giving ourselves a good amount of time.

The way we usually cost stuff up is:

The more complex the design is, the more it costs.
The more colours are used, the more it costs.

We usually create a layout of the design in photoshop with a 'per unit price' and also supply variations of the layout with aspects of the design adjusted slightly to reduce cost. That way you can choose the right compromise between the absolute original design and best price.

/derail....

If I can find a bit of time I might have a go at a design

Given that we will need a lead time to make any refinements and get them printed, I'm going to say that entries are closed on Sunday night. We'll then run a poll from Monday for a fortnight to decide which one is the final design, which should leave plenty of time for ordering and printing.
here you go Paul
