I'm still not convinced its a twin spark as the plug fits into the side of the cylinder head and not the top. Besides, its only on the front cylinder and not the rear. I will take a pic tomorrow to clarify.

Looked at the fiche.ronayers.com link and noticed that the prices are in dollars so assume its an american site. My guess is that Suzuki made a K7 twin spark for the american market but not for over here. Anyway, I am even more determined to find out what the plug on the side of the front cylinder is for and so will definitely post a pic tomorrow.

Stop!
K7 is twin-spark. The second plug enters the side of the cylinder heads, and not the top like you might expect. The Lambda sensor is placed in the exhaust to analyse exhaust gases - it is not found in the cylinder head - I suspect it would cook. I think it very unlikely that there would be two K7 models. Please check again - identifying a spark plug and its high tension cable is not difficult. I assume you should also be able to pull the cap away and see the end of the spark plug in the cylinder head.

Apologies for making crap deductions. Yes, after checking I can now verify that my K7 is indeed a twin spark. What threw me off was the positioning of the second spark plug not being where you would expect it to be. The rear one is really well hidden behind the coolant expansion tank. I will now do some research on the +/- of twin spark ignition.

I am. Unfortunately both of the bikes ended up selling so I'm still looking. Thanks to everyone for all the good info.
