Drew, I'll be coming in the Disco with all four dogs and Dan will either be riding the bike there or we'll hire a trailer to bring it along.

I had a great time last year not going on the ride. Samnooshka and I took the dogs for a walk in the day and I plan on doing the same this year.

Hovis, if you want brekkie with us, we'll be firing up the stove in the back of the Disco and having fresh bacon butties!

The year before last, I wish I'd skipped the ride itself, didn't enjoy it at all. No criticism of the organisation etc, it was just the horrible weather and I just wasn't in the right frame of mind for it. So, if it's like that again I probably will skip it. But I'll decide on the day I reckon... But on the other hand, I'm really glad I did the ride last year, if only for the ice cream on the beach

See.....in there is a perfectly good example of why it's useful that some people don't do the ride. Last year, Samnooshka and I were able to get to the beach car park before everyone on bikes and take pictures and video of everyone arriving.

As said by Lou, I didn't do the rideout last year, not really through choice, but never the less spent the time with friends so it was enjoyable enough, but despite the blinding ride down with Rigor, it just wasn't the same, and I'll do the ride out this year or not go, simple really.

Cheers Mark.
