James, that's very nice of you to inform everyone, but I think this thread is about knee down antics round corners, not your unsocial habits.

Lol! I did have some textiles that I used to get down purely as I was stupid and forgot I was wearing them. You can do it but they don't seem all that waterproof around the knees afterwards! Plus I made a hole in my work trousers, much to the annoyance of the wife. I had her convinced for months that I had knee-moths.

The next warm-ish day we get lets do some knee down sillyness then. Although we could be waiting til next year now.

And for your viewing pleasure, here is said bend with me on my old Ninja (rest her soul).

lmao at knee-moths! Nice knee down in that vid though, do you have metal sliders or something? Anyway, getting a bit cold for it now, so I might just ensure I don't crash for winter and come out fighting in the spring. Although during the day might be nice. Anyone want to meet up tomorrow?

I found this very sliproad at the weekend, didn't get close to knee down tho, the bend nearly caught me out first time as it tightens up around the last section!

I went round there on Saturday too. I did 3 passes of the bends. Need new sliders now though dammnit. It has caught me out a little when I started out. I find that an entry speed of about 50 and then speed up to what is comfortable/safe. Went in once at about 65 and almost binned the Hornet, back was all over the show front felt squishy, butt puckered up real good. Made it though. Phew.

I was going in at about 45 but not speeding up enough.. I was in a rush and the tyres weren't warm and didnt have enough time to do it more than twice. I saw another bike going round there but couldn't tell what it was.

If it was bright green it was me probably. We'll have to hook up when it's warmer (i.e. next season) and do a few runs.
