Is it the alcohol, or something else in the beer? I've been told that excessive quantities of water are bad for you and there's lots of that in beer. (Symptoms of excessive water syndrome include waving, shouting and disappearing beneath the waves).

Do you get the same effect with vodka? Organic cider??

It's all alcohol. When I was younger I tried everything to get myself drunk to be part of my peers! Everything from Beer to Spirits, Cider, anything.

Same reaction, some worse than others.

I'm veggie (like no meat or fish, but cheese and eggs is fine).
