I never met Hovis properly - but he must have been chuckling up there somewhere to see the Soho Massive in a dodgy Welsh disco , (including Supervox in sunglasses) with some of us wearing sheep t-shirts while dancing to the Spice Girls, stripping, and snogging the locals. Was that part of his original plan when he said we had to go to Wales?

Thanks to everyone who played a part, whether it was organising, marking, or like me just riding and having a great time. A weekend i'll NEVER forget.

I never knew Hovis personally, but i'd like to think he was up there smiling down and feeling really proud!!

If AR09 was anything to go by he's probably up there thinking, "Too f**king slow!!".

To add to my original post, I would like to thank the weather for staying relatively clear, and those who I managed to convince into going for a play on Sunday with. You gave me a chance to revisit some roads I haven't ridden in a long time, and bring back some good memories.

I shall not be thanking Hovis, as he had a right laugh at my expense yesterday by getting me and Kate thoroughly drenched!

Now lets get planning AR11!
