Amazing idea.
Their Kold Kutter ice screws. Not tried them myself, although I did make some studded tyres for my mountain bike, to give me something to ride during the 5-6 months I can't ride the SV. Put some screws through the tyre from the inside, ground off the points a bit and fitted tuffy tape.

If it is a necessity that you need your bike during winter fit a sidecar-----good stability and traction or are you to proud.
Take it off when the weather returns to normality for two wheels.

Life is so simple if you think about it.

think the problem with a sidecar is mainly getting someone brave+stupid+unselfconcious enough to sit in it.. have a go in a sidecar racing outfit.. youl be wobbly walking for a week with your head pumped with adrenalin

personally id rather take the fall that have something so hideous bolted to suzy. thankfully the cage is fun enough to travel in on the ungritted roads
