Re: Newtown to Crossgates....
I'm keeping an eye on the weather at the moment, It will be a 12hr day on the bike for me and I don't want to do it soaked. It's not looking promising.

Re: Newtown to Crossgates....
Home safe. Good ride boys, even with punctures and the wind/rain later.

Re: Newtown to Crossgates....
Back safe too about an hour ago, 322 miles under my belt mwahaha. Really enjoyed today, can't get enough of welsh roads and the drizzle never really dampened them enough to slow us down with the exception of over the hills to Machynlleth where that wind just wasn't funny! Great views though
So what time did they eventually fix your tyre Pete!? was a pity you couldnt do down to Crossgates with us mate. Next time

Re: Newtown to Crossgates....
Ended up with a new tyre.
The screw had totally fecked the carcase so the puncture wouldn't seal. Not a happy bunny, got to Mum's too late to go home, so staying overnight.... £180 for the sodding tyre. Pete ;( |

Re: Newtown to Crossgates....
Well that sucks is that £40 for the attempted repair and £140 for the new tyre fitted?
Bet in hindsight, shopping in manchester with the wife seems pretty good right about now. Hell, might have even worked out cheaper Sorry!
