Re: London Music
I always thought that Bon Jovi's, "Midnight in Chelsea" was about Bill Clinton's daughter.

Re: London Music
At a slight tangent, while looking through my collection for some of the mentioned songs I found the soundtrack to Wipeout2097, the Playstation racing game - tracks by the likes of The Prodigy (Firestarter Instumental), Fluke and Future Sound of London.
Better not let THAT one get on the MP3 player or its "Race On!" David |

Re: London Music
Wipeout! Great games!
I was playing Wipeout 64 the other day- love it, though it's flaws make it a little frustraging. Great soundtracks though. |

Re: London Music
At one stage there was a band called London
I remember them supporting The Stranglers when I saw them in Brighton (We won't go in to how old I was then, but it was in 1977) |

Re: London Music
Plenty of Pogues stuff. It tends to be their slower ones rather than the thrashier tunes though.
Misty Morning Albert Bridge Rainy Night In Soho The Old Main Drag White City London girl - this has quite a lot of place name checks and is probably the fastest of this lot. Some more I've probably missed. |

The Wildhearts, Down on London The Wildhearts, Greetings From ****sville. And Mile End by Pulp. 3 top London-bashing songs there.
