Got it home, goes through bricks like butter (one found it a bit too harsh though )

Yep, what you said about spending too much was bugging me then I saw this with more or less the same features at £45 less than the makita.
No there chucking isn't a chuck with it, despite saying it in the screwfix book when I bought it, going to complain as looking at the reviews just now they've been made aware of it previously.
....but still pleased

Yeah I did cheers mate, there's on in rotherham - will drop in next time I'm round those parts, not paying £20 if you can get 'em for £6!

Edit: oh and while you're on a good advice streak phil, think you were spot on about the thermistors in the boiler that's what the gasman reckoned today, he's back tomorrow.
