Re: yorkshire dales
Voted weekend of 16th/17th May - I'm on MM2 with the Border Patrol the weekend before, and I might be 'dahn sarf' the weekend after.

Re: yorkshire dales
right people it looks like its going to be the 16th or 17th but the pole will still run incase of a late surge of interest. the first reccy will be a mid week one next week, and i think pt6's route looks the best so far so barring any insiteful pointers that should be the where and when (paul if you could stick the route up on this thread mate cheers)
if someone could lend me a sat nav just for the day as an extra backup that would be great, could do with a vol for tec (who would do one of the reccy's for obvious reasons) that would be magic paul i'll try to get up for a chat with you within the next 2 weeks if anyone has orginzied one of these before and a/see's i'm doing something wrong or b/ has any words of wisdom/critisism please make yourself heard finally thanks for all the imput from everyone i'm not completely bricking myself anymore just sitting in fear of failure |

Re: yorkshire dales
I'll have some of this.
Voted for 17th May. Will be my longest ride, and the furthest away from home. Just for the record, i'm still cack , and given the amount of times I got zoomed on sunday up near Helmsley, someone please tell me to go home if i'm spoiling anyone's fun! cheers Daz |

Re: yorkshire dales
Don't worry about holding anyone up or spoiling their fun... if people want to zoom, they will do, and you'll probably see more of them marking junctions and making sure you don't get lost.
Dave: probably the thing to remember is to do a bit of a briefing before you start, to make sure everybody is on the same page for marking and stuff. |
