No, thats my job - I'm getting 120 out of my pointy when I cane it, and over 160 in normal riding (had 200 once, the last time I went to Scotland, but I arrived in Berwick on fumes)

further north on a sunday could be problematic for petrol as lots of places in the sticks are shut on sundays.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, Im still hoping to be there, and if anyone from the south wants to break there journey on the way up from the sarf you are still welcome to doss at mine, I live just off the M6/M62 split in Warrington, so about half way from London to Glasgow.

Hi,
I've just noticed this yesterday, a weekend rideout in August? Sounds great. At the moment I'd love to join and the only thing I can think of that would stop me is an earthquake or judgment day (but we all know these things can happen). I'd be camping and from what I've read here you don't need to book your place and just turn up. But I'm sure that finding some space for one Pole on the camping field won't be difficult Hope to see you all. |
