I really hope folks can make it, but would rather folks stay at home than risk a spill if the roads are still icy.
I have lots of grit
I'll be honest; it looks lovely all white and snowy; its going to look manky if I grit it

Once the festive day is past I'll sort it out

Parts are OK and parts like a skating rink. This was last Sunday.

And therein lies the problem , with the kind of places that are likely to get Icy conditions , like smaller rural areas where you live and Henryd , they will put Grit bins out . They will also grit the main roads . I live in the town where they store the damned stuff and we don`t get a bin or a visit . I asked for a grit bin and was told that we don`t need one .

Just dumped more Snow here and it`s turning slushy and may Freeze over so it will probably be gone by Boxing Day but just be careful of the shiny stuff in the Margins on the day .

Same up here, so I'm probably bowing out unless there is a major thaw over the course of today.
