Re: Fuel range to empty
somewhere circa 130 miles.
Mine will do that in a different circumstance, but as I've already recced the route, and have the experience......be sure to guage for lower fuel consumption on this particular route.

Re: Fuel range to empty
Suddenly I can see the advantages of only having a 125! After 200miles I still have quarter of a tank left, (No I am not being a petrol tanker for sv's and yes I know I will struggle to keep up unless its really twisty )

Re: Fuel range to empty
Don't worry we have a resident petrol tanker....its called YCs jerry can
Don't worry about keeping up, its a rideout, not a race.

Re: Fuel range to empty
I've never taken my VFR to empty so this is pure guesswork.
But in Switzerland I had about a third of a tank left when the CBRR guys needed to fill up. So my best guess is about 150 miles on mountain roads. Keith. |

I've got NO idea how the raptor manages to be terrible on fuel when going so slowly? Ride my XJ the same speeds and it will do 60 to the gallon and 300+ to the tank Just to clarify the jerrycan on mine is for when I run out!! Anyone else runs out I will let you push it a bit first so I can offer a reasonable and competetive price for enough go-go juice to get your sweating, wheezing carcasses back to the beer tent

Re: Fuel range to empty
I'll be selling it by the ounce never mind the litre. #twang of rubber glove being put on# Won't hurt... much
If I get more than 30mpg I'll have to give myself a slap for not trying hard enough.
