Sorry not to have been around much - work busy & holiday. Bike hardly ridden in the last month apart from a fantastic trip with darylB down the A49 to Leominster, A44 to the Cross Gates cafe (near Llandrindod Wells) and A488 back to S'bury via Knighton and Clun. The A44 is so twisty you feel punch drunk - fast, and fabulous views if you're going slow enough (which of course we were). There is also a hairpin, which can catch some out - it's after the long straight bit, not that far from the Cross Gates. The A488 is triffic too, you get a fabulous view of Knighton as you start dropping down from the hills into the town. Recommended

I'm here to offer apologies for 5 Sept - it's wife & mine's anniversary, 20 years actually, so if I went out on the bike I don't think I'd have any wedding tackle left

I am intending to try and get to the stormy meet .... its still Wednesday 5 Sept, approx 7.30 pm ..... isn't it?

Yup, just had a text from Luckypants asking if I'll be there, so I'm assuming since he hasn't updated the thread that it's still on for 7:30.

I'll be there, only a 2hour 10mins ride (according to google) to get there.

A5, A495, A41... just incase I pick up anyone along the way, I'll be leaving home around 5pm.

Chris said he will drive me to meet you guys, although it won't be the same not having Zuky.
