Re: Rim Tape... Yes or No?
Along with anodised nuts and bolts, coloured and iridium screens or headlight covers, coloured anodised brake and clutch levers, coloured anodised footrests, coloured anodised anything in fact (with the exception of gold anodised Ohlins shocks and gold anodised USD forks).

Re: Rim Tape... Yes or No?
In the vast majority of cases ( > 99%) its a huge no. its never done tidy ehough, it always seems to be fluorescent green or orange, it looks crap.
But sometimes, just sometimes, it works. sometimes. |

Re: Rim Tape... Yes or No?
anything that makes me a liitle more noticeable in the winter months is a good thing. i did mine before winter kicked in and they are already showing signs of wear. so they are just a dark night fix for me and when the warmer times come they'll have to come off.

I actually have rim tape fitted on the 800, the SRAD wheel I bought from Ebay had white reflective tape on already and the seller threw in a roll for the back wheel. I tried it on the wheel and wasn't sure what I thought, its been on ever since but I wouldn't say I would replace it if it got scuffed. |

Re: Rim Tape... Yes or No?
I would say that on silver wheels, it doesnt look great as it doesnt stand out. Have a look at some examples on silver wheels to see what I mean
On black wheels, there is a definate contrast. I think it works. No problem with rim tape here. Anodised bolts yes, but not rim tape |
